Having an awareness that the oil you're working with is a living essence with a "consciousness" expands the potential of the healing experience.
By connecting with the "spirit" or "consciousness" of the individual plant, the potential exists to receive more of the benefits of the plant's healing energies (science calls this the chemical constituients specific to each plant, as in hydrocarbons - terpenes, and oxygenated compounds - aldehydes, esters, ketones, alcohols, phenols, and oxides).

The plant kingdom gives its gifts to humans willingly. It understands that the use of plant essences can bring about a greater sense of balance that, in addition to directly affecting the individuals using the essences, also affects everyone they come into contact with. This occurs through the law of resonance. And when enough people come into balance through the use of tools such as essential oils, critical mass can be reached, resulting in a beneficial effect on the rest of the population.
ESSENTIAL OILS AS VIBRATIONAL MEDICINE
Essential Oils are one form of vibrational medicine and consist of the subtle, aromatic and volatile liquids extracted from the flowers, seeds, leaves, stems, bark and roots of the herbs, bushes, shrubs and trees, through distillation.
Essential Oils contain the very "life force" of the plant (includes the sun's energy as well as water, air, and mineral energy) and can "act fast" by transfering an aspect of this essence directly to our bloodstream. It takes seconds to travel to every cell in our body, strengthening us at the cellular and energetic levels.
There are three grades of Essential Oils: Grade A, B and C. Over 90% of the Essential Oils in this country are of the lower grades. Only Grade A Essential Oils carry frequency, are labeled therapeutic grade, and can be considered vibrational medicine for use in alternative health.

VIBRATIONAL MEDICINE
Vibrational Medicine uses different kinds of energy in matter to positively impact our own energy field and cellular makeup. Vibrational medicine can be both a subtle method of healing that influences the energy system and a direct method that can immediately affect our physical body.

Vibrational healing is a process whereby vibrations are introduced or transferred into a human being’s physical and energetic bodies, so that the vibrations which have become unbalanced in the human physical or auric body are adjusted. This is based on the idea that illness or disease in the human and auric body is characterized by blockages and imbalances.
